Geoffrey Bailey

Geoffrey Bailey (Geoff) is Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Chief of Staff to the CEO at Oncor Electric Delivery, the largest electric utility in Texas serving more than 13 million Texans. In his role, Bailey is responsible for leading Oncor’s strategic planning process. This includes identifying M&A and other inorganic growth opportunities, identifying opportunities to help deploy incremental capital, as well as emerging issues and technologies potentially disruptive to Oncor’s business. Once identified, Oncor Corporate Strategy works collaboratively across the organization to support the business in developing, modifying and implementing strategies and tactics to sustain Oncor’s long term business success. Bailey also leads Oncor’s investor relations activities. Prior to his work at Oncor, Bailey worked in management consulting, and served as Deputy Chief of Staff to legendary oilman T. Boone Pickens – who Bailey credits with igniting his passion for energy and leadership. Bailey holds a Bachelors degree from UCLA and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Bailey lives in Dallas with his wife and two sons.
