Jason Huang

Dr. Jason Huang is co-founder and CEO of TS Conductor, an award-winning, US-based leader in advanced conductor technology for the world's power grids. With more than three decades of experience at the forefront of materials science and advanced conductors, he is a respected expert who has been quoted in Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and many others. Under Huang’s leadership, TS has earned numerous accolades, including being named a BloombergNEF Pioneers 2024 winner, Platts Global Energy Awards 2023 winner, US DOE CABLE Prize 2023 winner, and Public Utilities Fortnightly Edison Pioneers Innovation of the Year Award. Grid Guru presenter TED Talk 2025.  Prior to founding TS Conductor in 2018, Huang held senior leadership positions at prominent companies including CTC Global, BAE Systems, Owens Corning, and Solvay. His career also includes roles with prestigious organizations such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and work on sensitive defense aircraft projects like the F22 and F35. Huang is a proud American citizen who earned a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering and an MBA from The Ohio State University, as well as an MS in Materials Science from UCLA. He is passionate about addressing climate change through advanced technology that can solve transmission bottlenecks to integrate renewables safely and efficiently on the grid.
