Enrique Bosch

Dr. Enrique Bosch is the Director of Innovation of Avangrid, a clean energy company with more than 8,500 employees, $40B in assets and operation in 24 states, that provides with clean energy to more than 3.5M customers. He has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, working internationally with power generators, chemical companies, and environmental associations. 

Dr. Bosch oversees key company-wide innovation initiatives, such as hydrogen, energy storage, smart grids and industrial decarbonization. He is member of the Task Force to Study Hydrogen Economy and Energy Infrastructure of the State of Connecticut, advisor of the board of UMass Amherst Offshore Wind Center and coordinate AVANGRID’s partnerships with major US Universities. He holds a PhD in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from the University of Seville and a MBA from University of Deusto. He is co-author of more than 15 scientific papers and co-inventor of 2 patents related to environmental technologies.
