Tyler Hardin

Tyler Hardin is executive director and leader of the Strategy & Product Solutions group for NextEra Energy Resources, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and sun and a world leader in battery storage. Mr. Hardin is also a founding member of NextEra Energy Resources’ corporate venture capital organization. He was appointed to this role in September 2024, prior to which he held numerous roles of increasing responsibility at NextEra including Sr. Director of Strategic Investments and principal investor with NextEra Energy Investments.    

Mr. Hardin has spent more than 15 years working at the intersection of energy and finance. He began his career as a banker with a focus on the oil and gas sector before joining NextEra Energy Resources in 2014, where he has spent the last decade plus focused on energy transition. 

Mr. Hardin holds an MBA from Tulane University and bachelor’s degrees in finance and Spanish from Mississippi State University.
