Aki Manda

Aki Manda is the Technology Development Manager at KAJIMA, based in the Bay Area, where he leads collaborations with startups to drive sustainability, safety, and productivity in construction. With over 15 years of global engineering and innovation experience, Aki has delivered major infrastructure projects—including Japan’s first offshore wind turbine logistics, Tokyo Olympic bridge construction, and a 2-kilometer elevated toll road in Jakarta that helped alleviate one of the world’s worst traffic jams. He holds an MBA from Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business, with a focus on technology commercialization and sustainability. Aki bridges operational challenges with emerging solutions to build a safer, more sustainable, and productive future.
